3D CBCT Imaging

Cone Beam Computed Tomography, or CBCT, is an advanced imaging technology that creates a detailed 3D view of the skull, upper cervical spine, jaw, and surrounding bony anatomy. Unlike traditional 2D X-rays, CBCT allows us to examine the area from multiple angles with less anatomical overlap.

As an upper cervical chiropractor, Dr. Berlingeri uses CBCT to evaluate the alignment and joint relationships of the skull, atlas, and axis, while also looking for structural asymmetry, anatomical variations, degeneration, previous injury, and other findings that may affect the safety and precision of care.

Upper cervical misalignment may be associated with symptoms such as headaches, migraines, neck pain, dizziness, vertigo, balance problems, jaw discomfort, facial pain, postural changes, and symptoms following whiplash or head injury.

Expert radiologist interpretation may be indicated for specific cases.
